What kind of credit score does one need to be approved in an apartments credit check?

I am a single mother looking for an apartment. I found a great place in the same school district as my kids are in now. They said they will run a credit check and that will determine my qualification. If it comes back conditional, I will have to pay an increased security. If it comes back denied, I won’t get the apartment. Does anyone know what score these credit checks look for??
