Got a negative balance on credit card, do they send me a check?

Written by Credit Answers on June 29th, 2010

I received a refund after my statements closing date, so now i am showing a negative amount. What happens now? Do I have to ask them to send me a check for it or does it happen automatically? The credit card is Amex Blue.

Thanks.

How can you get the credit cards to stop coming to your un employed better half?

Written by Credit Answers on May 11th, 2010

She has went bankrupt twice and there is nothing i can do about it. The credit report is in both of our names because the state requires it. You cannot stop her from getting credit cards and ruining your credit unless you get a divorce. I dont have a credit card and on my credit report there are 16 credit cards with 4 in default? I am sick.

What is the best credit card for someone with no credit history?

Written by Credit Answers on May 8th, 2010

I’m wanting to establish good credit but I don’t know where to start. I don’t want high interest and I know if you don’t have credit history, your credit is bad. Please tell me which credit card I should get. Thanks.

Would it hurt my credit to maintain a negative credit card balance?

Written by Credit Answers on May 4th, 2010

I recently over paid my credit card by 0. I really don’t care that I over paid because I don’t need the money but I just want to make sure having a negative balance on one of my accounts does not harm my credit in anyway?

I remember talking to my bank about this awhile back and they said that I will have the amount credited back to my checking account if it is still there after a month.

I know, I know… I could be earning interest on that 0 in a money market or savings account. I over paid and I don’t see it being a big deal?

But is that really the case or with this some how maky my credit look bad for some reason?

Let me know…
